Rooted in Community
Located in Brighton’s historic district, our building was constructed between 1904 and 1908 and originally housed The Bicycle Shop of Brighton, a key part of the city’s downtown development in the early 1900s. Over the years, it has seen it all—a bicycle shop, a machine shop, a tailoring shop, a barber shop, a furniture store, and a 3.2 bar, to name a few.
Now, it’s home to 7AM Somewhere, lovingly restored to honor its past while creating a welcoming space for today. Our space reflects the stories and spirit of the neighborhood we call home.

It’s a place where the past and present
come together to create something special.
Thoughtfully sourced,
carefully crafted
Every coffee, tea, and treat we serve is chosen with purpose. Our beans come from Middle Fork Roasters dedicated to direct trade practices, ensuring farmers receive fair wages and use sustainable farming methods. We feature Rishi Teas and Bibamba Artisan Chocolate, known for their exceptional quality and commitment to ethical sourcing. Each choice reflects our values, supporting global communities while offering unforgettable flavors.

Middle Fork Roasters
Direct Trade Premiums
We source 100% specialty coffee. The sales premium we are able to get to farmers is between 40%-100% versus what they could sell for on the commodity (non specialty market).
Small Holder Partnerships
We only work with small holder farms and cooperatives.
Direct Connections
We aim to visit all of our producer partners at the minimum once every other year. We do this to maintain a direct connection to our partner, do our own quality analysis of conditions and equipment, and understand how we can help make improvements for either individual producers or the cooperative as a whole.
Organic Practices
For us almost all of our partners follow organic practices. Some of our coffees are even certified, but we choose not to certify ourselves so we don’t claim it.
Waste Repurposing
Repurpose all of our organic bi product from roasting to local garden clubs and and college agriculture programs
Cleaner Emissions
Reburn all of our combusted exhaust from roasting so that it is much cleaner as it moves into the atmosphere.
Sustainability Support
Support our farm partners with capital investments to further their sustainability initiatives.

A place to connect
This is a place to unwind, connect, or focus—whatever your day calls for. Whether you’re sharing laughs with friends, enjoying a quiet moment, or tackling work, our inviting space is designed to meet your needs. Grounded in the heart of Brighton’s historic district, we’re proud to foster a sense of community and inclusivity while honoring the area’s rich heritage.
